4) Lifting function.
Sometimes I call my wheelchair as “My Throne” or “Queen Throne”. When I went to concert or street performance, my seat can be lifted up maximum 50 cm higher. I was above the sitting audience. No obstacles. Best spot for photo taking or recording. “Sorry if I blocked your view.”
5) Mirror.
I always wonder who is behind me. What is happening behind me? Who is the naughty one trying to steal my chips in my shopping bag on the back handle. Or I just want to check my make up all the time. Yes. Finally I have a round mirror on the left side. The most important is I can see the vehicles coming from behind when crossing the minor streets. Or I try to hide myself behind the mirror from you.
6) Reflective stickers.
Before I had the lights adding on my wheelchair, I can be invisible in the dark especially if I wore dark jacket and went out after sunset. One day I saw some reflective stickers in a variety goods shop. Yes. I NEED them. I chose the smiling face one and the strip one. There is NO WAY the drivers cannot see me unless they do not put their lights on.
Thank you, Terri. I learnt a lot from your post.
