FUN

1) Tilting / Reclining function.

Reclining wheelchairI like to recline on my power wheelchair under the sun. I can sleep and have my dreaming everywhere. This function is not just for relaxing, but for releasing the pressure at my bottom. Can you sit on the same seat without moving your bottom whole day long? My arms are not strong enough to lift my body up to release the pressure or change the position, thus I need to recline on the wheelchair every few hours for 15 to 30 minutes at least.

2) Racing.

The average walking speed for adult is about 4 km/hr on flat road. My power wheelchair can go up to 9.3 km/hr by default indoor or on smooth surface. Some other wheelchair users told me it can be reprogrammed to go faster. When I go to shopping malls or on “traffic free” minor streets, race starts. I like the breeze touching my face. I like the feeling of speed. I like the change of scenes. Maybe I can be a runner trainer one day. “Chop! Chop! Come on! Keep running!

3) Flag.

Flag In my first year after discharged, if I went into a big crown for festival events or performance, you cannot find me. My height is below average. Even a 12 years old kid may be taller than me when he stands up. I told my Occupational Therapist I need a flag, an orange flag so that I can be a tour guide. Indeed, I was a tour guide when my overseas friends or relatives visited me. Do you to join my tour?
