Life is fragile. Life with spinal cord injury is even more fragile. Why would people with high level of spinal cord injury would go to “Paradise” easier than others?

 

1) “Blackout Stars”

 

People with spinal cord injury experience “blackout stars” more than others. To me, it usually happens in the morning after having “ a big job” in the toilet or practising standing up on a tilted table. My vision becomes blurred, many “blackout stars” appear in my view. Doctors told me it is the result of low blood pressure. It is far more dangerous than having high blood pressure. People would faint, lose conscious, having brain damages or even pass away in a short time.
