Names ( Part One)

Cold fish, Solar Panel or Eskimo

How is the temperature today? If people say “It’s cool.” To me, it would mean “Cold” or “Freezing”. If they say, “It’s warm.” To me, it would mean “Moderate” or “Cool” I always feel cooler. In Adelaide, within one day, the temperature difference can be more than 10 degrees in Celsius in most time. Some people call me “Cold fish”, then I add, “but I have a warm heart”.

As I feel cold all the time in Winter no matter how many I wear, so I like to rest under the sun for sunbathing from noon time. I have a few black colour jackets. In the winter time, I call myself “Solar Panel”, but do not generate electricity.

In the winter time, can you imagine some local Australians can just wear a top with short sleeves, but I wear layers of underlay, sweater and ski jacket. When taking photo together, can you tell whether we are in Summer or in Winter? I look like a snowball man. Some call me “Eskimo”.

On hot days, I will need air conditioning. As I can’t wear or take off jacket myself, I may stay 15 mins indoor with air conditioning to cool down, then go outside for 15 mins to warm up. And repeat until my body feels better. Like having hot and cold sauna.

The main reason of the above is after my injury my body cannot regulate the temperature in my body normally. I think it would really be a challenge for me to go to Alaska, ski resorts and those hot countries unless I have a portable air conditioner. (Wondering)
