Attack (Part Two)

3. “What can I do?” And “How can I do it?” are two different questions. I said I can do it as I know my capability or I tried before. I learnt to do things in my own ways and in different ways. I did not say it is easy, fast and/or without assistance. It is time and labour consuming sometimes. But I can make it with different assistance from tools to people. If you cannot help, it is ok. I will find others with possible mindset.

Have been my friend Fausal Rusdi’s solo exhibition – Colour of Journey yesterday. He is a mouth painter of Association of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists (AMFPA). His passion is disability rights and arts advocacy. “Do not be amazed that I paint with my mouth but enjoy and appreciate my artworks.” ~Faisal.  His other drawing below shows people in power wheelchair participating sports. Do not limit yourself. “…We are not your inspiration. We are just human.” ~ Faisal. I believe everyone has their potential. Have you uncovered them yet?

If you are in Adelaide, spend time in his exhibition is joyful. There are 21 pieces of drawings there. Some drawings I like had been sold. Be quick. If you like to meet him and his wife, join the party to celebrate together at West Torrens Auditorium in the afternoon on 30 November 2017. Otherwise, visit his FB – Faisal Rusdi (Aal).
