“Black holes”, do you know you can respond differently?
When facing unfavourable situation, our body sometimes react automatically without thinking. To me, I see them as Challenges. “How can I play “the game”? Can I pass this level and upgrade to next? Or is it the time to manage my brain, ears, heart, eyes and tongue again?”
Brain/Ears/Heart
- Why choose to be sad? If we can choose to have joy.
- Fill and Keep the positive or good memory. Replace the negative thoughts. But still need to manage the bad memory or experience.
- Focus on the challenges for Today. Tomorrow’s challenges or worries are for tomorrow.
- Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Philippians 4:6 NLT
- How determined am I? How important to me for making the changes or taking the new action? What stops myself?
- Talk to people to search for alternatives or possibilities.
- Don’t limit others if just because I cannot think or find solutions.
- I believe there is always a Way Out if we don’t give up. Maybe just out of my expectations or the time is not yet come.
Eyes
- Maybe time to wipe the glasses because the “grease or dusts” (negative thoughts) on the glasses may block my sight. (Time for cleansing)
- Sometimes I get usual to wear the “sunglasses” to protect ourselves from the bright harmful sun for too long. Time to take them off and see the sunrise or sunset of the earth (adjustment to different moment of life).
- When entering into indoor, without light on, from outdoor during daytime, my eyes take time to adjust the environment. It may be just dimmer, not totally dark. ( Adjustment to changing situations takes time)
- Prepare to know the spot of the light switch, or use the torch function of your smartphone. May sure it is connected, bill is paid, batteries are charged, have backup batteries or generator. (Prepare for possible situations and the worst.)
- Open the heart and look outside. Search for the “stars” when the dark sky arrives. The stars are always around. Sometimes it is just covered by the clouds. The darker the sky, the brighter the stars. (There is always light.)
- Search for the good thing to appreciate in life. It is very vary if nothing is good.
Tougue
- Blessing other people is like having honey in my mouth and the flowing of honey into the people’s heart. So Good. Yummy. Moisture. We are blessed to be blessing.
- Control the tongue. I try to remind myself that I can say something good or positive or just shout up. It needs awareness and training.
- Some people make cutting remarks, but the words of the wise bring healing.
