KEEP EYES on what I CAN DO
I can’t remember much about my accident when it happened. I can hear some people talking around me from time to time. I think the health professionals put me in unconscious condition. When I became conscious, it was at least 2-3 weeks after my injury. But I had breathing machine with trachea at my throat which stops me closing my vocal valves. If I wanted to draw people’s attention, I can only try tongue tackling to make “dot dot dot” sound.
When nurse was around or having visitors, I might need their help sometimes. How did I communicate with them? If you have experience with people have communication problems. One of the ways is to use a Communication Board (“Board”). There are different versions. The one I used was simply with alphabet A to Z on it.

Interesting ‘game’, Terri!
Yes, my GAME in ICU. I actually enjoyed it.
